Ladies, do you ride a road bike but want to ride an adventure bike? Do you already have an adventure bike and want to learn to be comfortable taking it off road? Or, have you been riding an adventure bike for a few years, but want to focus on the basics of off-road riding in order to be more comfortable and confident handling that large bike off the highway?
If you said “yes” to any of the above, then this is the course for you! It is for every woman that has looked at a dirt or gravel road and said, “I’d like to see where that goes..”
Adventure motorcycling is quickly becoming one of the most popular segments of motorcycling. Adventure riding is all about stepping outside of your comfort zone to go amazing places you never thought you could before! You will quickly find yourself exploring new places and meeting new people – and there’s likely to be a few dirt roads along the way!
Any woman wanting to learn to take her adventure bike off-road.
NO dirt riding experience is needed.
Riders should have an M endorsement, at least 2500 miles of road experience, and be comfortable with slow speed drills in a parking lot.
You will need a motorcycle that has pegs to stand on and that’s in good working condition.
Are you brand new to riding and don’t have 2500 miles of road experience, but want to continue your riding training beyond the MSF course? Zacker Adventures will be hosting a “New Rider” Ladies of Dirt 101 course in the near future… More information on that coming soon!
If you have questions about which Zacker Adventures course you should take, contact Todd directly at todd@ZackerADVentures.com
In our Ladies of Dirt 101, we cover all the skills you will need to begin your new path on dirt and gravel roads. Some of the topics we cover are:
1.Adventure bike set up and ergonomics
2.Standing: How, why, when and where
3.Throttle and brake control on dirt and gravel
5.Steering by weight transfer
6.Slow speed maneuvers
The goal for this training weekend is to become more confident riding your adventure bike off the pavement. We will push you to explore the limits of your comfort zone while facilitating a safe and fun learning environment.
This is a 2-day immersive experience with riders who share your passion for adventure. It is an all-inclusive weekend getaway at our new facility in Franklin, West Virginia. You will need to bring along a sense of adventure, your bike, riding gear, and your favorite beverage. We provide food, cabin/tent camping fees, and a camp bag full of goodies.
